IIUM KUANTAN EID GATHERING

Alhamdulillah, I manage to attend this event. As usual, I will be anywhere that provides free food. I just get to eat satay, cendol, ketupat and lemang only. I ate a lot of satays. However, I cannot get to eat laksa. Really sad..=(

The programme should be started at 10.30am. The duration between 10.30am till 12.30 pm is just for VIP. I can accept that. Thus, I was be there at 12.30pm which is should be the time for non-VIP to take the food. However, the programme had been delayed. It just started at 12.30pm for VIP. Hence, the time for non-VIP will be late.

I really regret with this situation. I have several reasons why I was really angry.
1st: I came from JHC which take 15 minutes to go to IMC. The total time I was on the road is 30 minutes.
2nd: I have class at 2.30pm, thus, I couldn’t manage to be in time in evening class.
3rd: I was really hungry till I take a bread to fill up my stomach while waiting for food to be served.
4th: I was intentionally do not fast in order to come for this Eid gathering.
There are other several reasons that I can’t explain.

All in all, I know that the management of this programme had done the best for all IIUM Kuantan citizens. However, due to some people who think they are really ‘great’, the programme could not start on time. I really hate to all those people who think that they are ‘great’.

I hope that I will not be included in this ‘great’ category people. “O Allah! Let me far away from this kind of attitude. Ameen...”

REUNION G4-SMKAB

The date of 23rd September 2009 becomes a history to G4-SMKAB members. We can put it as a historical event. Finally, after waiting for six years since our graduation from SMKAB in 2003, we manage to make our first gathering aka our 1st reunion. The purpose of this reunion is to gather all members of G4-SMKAB members. G4-SMKAB is consisting of students who are studying at SMKAB in duration of year 1999 till 2003. Even they are just study for one day is accepted.

We are happy and enjoy having this gathering. Happy to see ex-schoolmates, can know their condition and so on. The gathering was been held at Alias’ home. Congratulation and thanks to Alias (aka Yeh) for his volunteerism to let his home to be the place to gather all G4 generation. The people are start gather at 12 noon. One by one is coming till 3 o’clock. They are all coming from Alor Star, Kulim, Baling and Sungai Petani.

The total of G4 members who are coming is about 56 people. At this moment, we manage to form a simple organization to run our batch. The organization is consists of a leader, a secretary and a treasurer. The people who have been given trust for these posts are:

Tresurer: Wan Nur Nazirah (aka Along)

We hope that this reunion can be held every year, so that our brotherhood and sisterhood will remain strong.
